Events Programme
Our meetings are held at The Baptist Church Hall, Western Road, Shoreham-by-Sea - start time 7:30pm until 9:30pm, except for our February meeting which starts at 7:00pm. Nearby car parking is available at the Shoreham Centre car park.
Non-members are welcome to join us - there is a fee for non-members of £5 per meeting which includes refreshments and entry into a raffle.

We are holding three competitions this year at our monthly meetings and the winner of each competition will receive a cash prize of £5.00. We are hoping that lots of you will join in and make these successful events. All entries must be home grown by the exhibitor.
5 MARCH - Ian Currie - "Greenhouses, Gales and Global Warming"
Collect your potato for our potato competition
2 APRIL - Mark Saunders - " Super Seasonal Displays"
Competition: A vase of 5 cut daffodils with leaves, at least 2 varieties. These can be of any variety, e.g. singles, doubles, multi headed. All entries must be home grown by the exhibitor. (To be judged by our speaker, Mark Saunders)
7 MAY - Dr Janet Pennington - "Witches, Warlocks & Wellingtons"
4 JUNE - Michelle Ernoult - "We can't all be beekeepers, but we can all help our bees"
Competition: A vase of mixed cut flowers that are good for our pollinating bees and insects. All entries must be home grown by the exhibitor. (To be judged by our speaker, Michelle Ernoult)
3 JULY - Paul Green - "Step back in time - Sussex Murders & Misdemeanours"
+ results of our Potato Competition
AUGUST date to be advised - Cheese & Wine social event on Ham Field Allotments, Shoreham, from 7pm
3 SEPTEMBER - Steve Webster - "A day in the life of a Ranger"
1 OCTOBER - Peter May - "Sussex Apples and Orchards"
Competition: One Squash, any variety. All entries must be home grown by the exhibitor. (To be judged by our speaker, Peter May)
