Rules - Potato in a Pot Competition 2025

• Seed potatoes and pots will be supplied by the Society - available at our Feb & March meetings
• Only seed and pot supplied can be used
• Complete pots should be delivered to Barry Hillman by date tba
• Results will be announced on website asap after they are weighed
• No extension of pots will be allowed
• Haulms can be cut off, but pot must be brought to weigh-in complete as growing
• Crop will be weighed without growing medium and pot
• Junior Class open to those under 14 years of age (eg children & grandchildren)
• Entries from more than 1 member of each family will be allowed
• Entry fee for adults is £1, juniors 50p
• Judges decisions will be final
• Contravention of these rules will result in disqualification
• Pots must be returned to the Society
